Abstrak
In accordance with the title, this research was conducted to find the criteria for service that is a blessing according to 1 Thessalonians 2: 1-12. This research is a non-interactive qualitative research, meaning that researchers do not interact with others in the field. Researchers only focus on examining the document that is the Bible, in this case the focus is even more on Chapter 1 Thessalonians 2: 1-12. Thus the method used is the exegesis of words or phrases contained in Chapter 1 Thessalonians 2: 1 -12. Based on text analysis, the criteria for service that are blessed according to 1 Thessalonians 2: 1-12 are (1) Having the right motivation; (2) Having the right goals; (3) Having the right way; (4) Having the right life; (5) Having the right demands.
